Dresdful. I lost my passport on 2 Dec and rang the Embassy 3 December telling them I lost it. I thought BA accepted drivers license as a form of travel. But you can only do this with the U.K. They should have advised me on this but they did not. Friday I was refused at the airportI have come away with no credit card as it is I. The UK. I am a diabetic and have been without medication today as I have no E111. I also take tablets fir high blood pressure without them I might get a stroke. My wife booked me a hotel using my card that Id in the U.K. room only. A small mistake we should have done breakfast. But the hotel will nit take payment for breakfast unless you have the card with youI have paid 100 online fur an emergency travel document and I might nit have it until Tuesday. BA have rescheduled my flight Monday nightBy Monday I will have been without food it medicine for 3 daysThe small if nibey I have I need to keep fir transport to the Embassy and airportI rung the Energebcy number Saturday nibudy really cares. If I due I will be another statistic but the aenvsssy dint care.
I lost my passport this morning and the flight was 5 hours later and I was in a different city. I completed the emergency travel form and phoned the embassy in munich. They were AMAZING. I was travelling with small children and they expedited the travel document such that I was able to get it and get to the airport on time. I cant praise or thank the team there enough. As I said an amazing service thank you
